Maintenance tips

Our furniture is designed with quality materials adapted to the bathroom environment. Short-term exposure to high humidity or splashes is not a problem, but it is necessary to air or ventilate sufficiently to restore normal humidity levels, and to wipe away any stagnant water. So that you can enjoy your bathroom for a long time to come, we’ve provided you with all the information you need to know about maintenance.

CERAMIC GRASS

Daily maintenance : For routine maintenance of Laminam plates, hot water and neutral cleaners are generally sufficient. These should be diluted according to the instructions on the label. After some time, and with the use of commercially available cleaners, opaque patinas can form on the surface. To avoid the formation of waxes and shiny patinas, we recommend using only neutral cleaners for routine maintenance, while a stripper should be used all over the floor to remove these deposits.
Remove encrusted stains, scratches and burns : This operation is designed to remove particularly stubborn stains or residues. In general, we recommend initial cleaning with hot water and a neutral cleaner. If this is not sufficient, increasingly aggressive cleaning techniques can be used, depending on the nature of the soiling agent, using cleaning methods in the following order: non-abrasive detergents with neutral pH, abrasive detergents, acidic or basic detergents, solvent-based detergents.

MINERALSOLID

DAILY MAINTENANCE: Caring for Mineralsolid is quick and easy. Simply clean the surface with soapy water or common detergents to remove most stains and dirt. Detergents in gel or scouring powder form are particularly recommended, for use with an abrasive sponge such as Scotch Brite®, taking care to rinse the treated area with clear water. In this way, the original opaque finish is maintained, a distinctive feature of Mineralsolid.

HOW TO PREVENT DAMAGE: The surface is generally stain-resistant, but the use of aggressive chemicals such as acetone, trichloroethylene, strong acids or alkalis is not recommended. Some substances such as ink, cosmetics and dyes, in prolonged contact with the material, can release colorants onto the Mineralsolid surface, as can lit cigarettes. All this can easily be removed by following the tips below.

REMOVE INCREASED DAMAGE, SCRATCHES AND BURNS: Mineralsolid can be repaired for superficial damage, such as scratches, cigarette burns and stubborn stains, and restore the surface to its original beauty simply by using these guidelines. Minor damage can be repaired with an abrasive sponge such as Scotch Brite® (3M registered trademark) and a standard abrasive detergent. If the defect persists, iron the surface with very fine-grain sandpaper.
